The goal of the Parks Lab is to uncover the biological pathways and genes that mediate dietary interactions and ultimately lead to the development of metabolic diseases, such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. To achieve this goal we employ an interdisciplinary approach that is based on systems genetics, computational biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry.
