The Craven Lab research interests are situated at the intersection of machine learning, computational biology and biomedical informatics. The focus of the research program is to develop and apply machine-learning methods to the problems of inferring models of, and reasoning about, networks of interactions among genes, proteins, clinical and environmental factors, and phenotypes of interest.
